Join us on a snowmobile trip out of Longyearbyen and be enchanted at the unique blue light characterizing the polar night. At this time of year, the sun is below the horizon all day, and we have opportunities to see the starry sky and the northern lights. The tour goes into the river delta in Adventdalen, past the old airstrip, along Operafjellet and to the landmark "Jernsenga". We then drive to a pingo, which is a natural phenomenon that occurs in areas with permafrost and glaciers. We have now driven approx. 20 km from Longyearbyen, and here we stop to enjoy the silence of the polar night. We also serve a cup of something hot, and a good story or two.
